I have been traveling to Haiti For more than 1/2 of my life and am so excited to finally have a project of my own in Duchity!

CoFounder/Director Cherly Dorvilier

Born and raised in Duchity, Cherly has always dreamed of being able to return from school in Port-Au-Prince and start a program to help the youth in his own community have a better life.

Nacize was born and raised in Duchity and has a strong working relationship with the community. She has two degrees and is a licensed pharmacist and Nurse. As soon as she heard about what we wanted to do for the community she immediately contacted us to get involved. Our program would not be where it is today with out her!

In the words of a traditional Haiti proverb Piti piti zwazo fè nich li. . . Little by little the bird builds its nest. Our building is almost ready to open. Stay tuned for exciting program updates!

As one year closes and a new one begins we look back with a spirit of gratitude for all you have helped us accomplish and we look forward with a spirit of expectancy for what the new year will bring. Here’s to the best year yet thank you for being on this journey with us! We wish you all a very happy new year!

The Dream is becoming a reality! We have secured this site and began minor renovations. We are hopeful that in just a little while women will be pouring through this building for life saving treatment and education!

We have an exciting opportunity for you to support our work in Haiti! We need you to sponsor a square on the grid above pledging to donate that much money. If we can get every square sponsored we will be able to rent the building you see here for an entire year plus update the exterior and buy/build the necessary furniture to begin programming before the end of the year! I will post daily updates to let you know where we stand.

So happy to share this garden update cabbage and leeks as far as the eye can see! Just a little while until our first harvest and it looks to be plentiful!

It’s a big day here we received our paperwork back and are now officially our own independent nonprofit! Researching grants to celebrate!

Do you have an old SUV or van hanging around that is in good working order that you just don’t need? Please consider donating it so we can begin to offer emergency transport for patients in need in Duchity Haiti.
